Who this policy applies to
To visitors of our website, our clients, participants in our training sessions, subscribers to our newsletter and the people we are in touch with to offer our services.
What we collect and why
On our website: the information you enter in the contact form, the package order, the audit tool, the newsletter or the live chat, to answer you and follow up on your request.
Clients and projects: your contact details, billing information, access to your accounts (domain name, hosting, social media, advertising), the content and photos you send us and our exchanges, to carry out the project, invoice it and support you.
Training: your name, email and company, to register you and send you the session link. Payment is handled by Stripe: we receive the confirmation, never your card number. If a session is recorded, we tell you at the start.
Prospecting and follow-up: the business contact details you give us or that are public, and our notes from our conversations, to follow up on our discussions. You can ask us to stop at any time.
We only collect what we need and we never sell your information.
Artificial intelligence tools
We use artificial intelligence tools, such as Claude and ChatGPT, and automations in Hostinger and Brevo to write, analyze and automate part of our work. We only put in the information the task requires, we avoid putting in sensitive information and, when the tool allows it, we choose the settings that prevent our data from being used to train its models.
A person on our team always reviews the result. No decision about you is made solely by an automated tool.
Your clients' data
When we manage your website, forms, social media or campaigns, we may have access to your own clients' information. You remain responsible for it, and we act as a service provider: we use it only for the project, we protect it like our own and, at the end of the project, we return it to you or destroy it, as you choose.
Cookies on our website
Essential: they remember your choices on this site, such as your cookie decision. They are always on.
Live chat: Brevo Conversations sets its own cookies to keep the conversation open from page to page. It only loads if you accept it.
Audience measurement: Metricool counts visits and pages viewed to help us improve the site and measure our campaigns. It only loads if you accept it.
We use no advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the “Manage my cookies” link at the bottom of this page.
Who we share your information with
Only with the providers that help us offer our services, and only for the stated purpose: Hostinger (hosting and automations), Google (email, documents, calendar, Meet and advertising), Airtable and Cloudflare (order and project management), Anthropic and OpenAI (artificial intelligence tools), Brevo (newsletter, live chat and automations), FormSubmit (contact form), Stripe (payments), Metricool (audience measurement and social media), Meta (managing our clients' pages and ads), Canva (visual design) and our accountant.
Several of these providers store data outside Quebec, including in the United States and Europe. Before sharing information with them, we assess whether they provide adequate protection.
Retention
We keep your information as long as needed: contact form, chat and prospecting exchanges for up to two years after the last contact, training participant lists for up to two years after the session, and client files as long as tax laws require. After that, it is destroyed or anonymized.
At the end of a project, we hand your account access back to you and remove ours.
Security
Access is limited to Sédentaire's partners, our accounts are protected by password and by two-factor authentication where available, and our site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to your accounts is used only for the project.
Your rights
You can ask to access your information, correct it, receive it in a common format, withdraw your consent, stop receiving our communications or have your information deleted. We reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Privacy incidents
We keep a record of privacy incidents. If an incident poses a serious risk to your information, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
